Having spent well over a year on the architecture of their future platform, biid were on the lookout for someone to take their concepts and turn them into a real product.
biid was a journey. We spent approximately 2 years working together, creating much, much more than was initially in scope. Creating an app was only the start, having the chance to work on;

My relationship with the architects at biid was tight. I was new in this industry and was well aware I'd have to lean on their expertise. Quickly we noted down the key features off the app from the basics to things like identity approval and document signatures.
A whole lot of the app work was creating a secure platform (from a scramble keyboard) to multiple forms of authentication (fingerprint, facial, code etc.) and creating UI that would support these modes. Document Signature and the ability to have multiple signees was something that took us a while to figure out (especially with security) but that was part of the fun.

Demo Portal

To demonstrate to potential clients (Santander, LLoyds etc.) how the app would work in the real world I had to put together a Portal that would allow us to demo dummy content on the fly. This was a UX heavy endeavour making sure we had multiple back-ups incase anything failed during a presentation. The ability to upload documents, photos, send notifications, change user details etc all had to be possible and done on the fly.
